I see by your link that you are engaged with Nikken and I give you credit for engaging in discussions with people as me with other opinions instead of ignoring.

I must say though that it is kind of contradicting first talking about “The future technology of healing is moving towards Magnetic Therapy!!” and then mostly referring to ancient use of magnets. But since you speak a lot about ancient use of magnets. Cleopatra was said to have worn a magnetic headpiece to promote a youthful appearance, and magnets were used in the 1600s to treat smallpox lesions. Also another example is The one study that alleged magnet therapy was effective at treating lingering pain from polio, done by Baylor College of Medicine in 1997, which has been widely discredited within the medical community.

And speaking of laws of physics or scientific believes, I really don´t see the connection between why magnetic devices have to work and the laws of physics. I guess you could call it a scientific belief then. If so I guess that there was a certain Christopher Columbus that had a scientific belief as well, the earth to be flat. Maybe a stupid example.

When it comes to Animals and babies I guess I could not explain improvements in any illness by the placebo effect, but how do you know that it was not a natural healing. I would like to see magnets perform an enhanced or faster recovery than normal for a known decease or illness where a documented natural healing process exists. And I am not talking about single examples but studies including a respectable amount of test objects.

I also want to mention that claims of the effectiveness of magnet therapy are not proven and not endorsed by the American FDA or the medical community at large. The American Cancer Society and the FDA warns against using magnet therapy as an alternative to traditional medicine.

It is believed that these magnetic miracle pieces have been proven to disturb the signal between internal pacemakers or internal defibrillators and the hart. It is also believed they have made automatic insulin pumps malfunction. These are all speculations and rumors, but it makes sense to me.

I seem to be trying to tare this all apart now, and that is not my intention. I usually have a open mind and as a describe in my blog, I have both tried Nikken and Phithen. Without any illnesses and maybe with a high expectation of rapid improvement in strength and stamina, hehe.

What aggravates me is the justification of ridiculous prices on these objects and the marketing that these products make wonders! I have also seen business models selling these products that makes me even more suspicious, I am thinking of pyramid business models (cant remember the english word for it).

Dr. Louie comments on Phiten and Nikken, results of brilliant marketing!

The future technology of healing is moving towards Magnetic Therapy!!
Magnets have been used for many centuries for a variety of health purposes. By various accounts, magnets were discovered when people first noticed the presence of naturally magnetized stones, also called lodestones. By the third century A.D., Greek physicians were using magnetic rings to treat arthritis and magnetized pills made of amber to stop bleeding. In the Middle Ages, doctors used magnets to treat gout, arthritis, poisoning, and baldness; to clean wounds; and to retrieve arrowheads and other iron-containing objects from the body.
In the United States, magnetic devices (such as hairbrushes and insoles), magnetic ointments, and clothes with magnets attached came into wide use after the Civil War, especially in some rural areas where few doctors were available. Healers claimed that magnetic fields existed in the blood, and that people became ill when their magnetic fields were depleted. Thus, healers marketed magnets as a means of replenishing these magnetic fields. Magnets were promoted as cures for a wide range of health conditions, including paralysis, headache, backache, sleeplessness, upset stomach, and liver and kidney problems.
The use of magnets to treat medical problems remained popular well into the 20th century. Today, magnets are used for many different types of pain, including foot pain and back pain from conditions such as arthritis and fibromyalgia.
In My Opinion and my experience Magnets must work because of the laws of physics. I have seen magnets work wonders on Animals’ and babies so I doubt one can perform a placebo effect on them…..

Heidi Vonka Koi comments on River Rescue Course

Hi you!
